Oxygen sensor light
« on: 03 November 2007, 12:10:28 »

Hi I have fitted the oxygen sensor but the light has stayed on, the orange fault indicator light, my question is when fitted new, does the sensor have to be reset,to remove the light, and also is there anyway you can reset them yourself, i think i read somewhere about bridgeing the circuit to turn the light out, or do i have to go to vauxhall and get them to reset ?
Thanks

You need either a tech2 to clear the code or I believe it will turn the light off after a certain number of fault free engine starts.

Engine starts would be handy, I do know a chap that knows a chap that works at vauxhalls, he said he will reset but doesnt know when he will be able to do it, he will let me know, zzzzzzzzzzzzzz sometimes these things just dont come about, so I hope it just resets itself, I did here that some bridge the the connections, but dont know how so will leave alone.
