Hi, Has any member found an easy route from engine bay to cabin for wiring, I have been installing LPG (Mixer System)  I have to pass abround eight sheafed wire throgh for the switch.

I'll be interested in this, as I am also fitting LPG to my Omega, (SGI).

Out of interest, why are you fitting a mixer kit instead of sequential? Mixer systems do not work well with Omega.

Well for ease of fitting and ease of budget I'm going with the mixer system for the time being.  The vapouriser will suit a sequential injection system at a later date. This allows me to locate a good manifold for drilling and later fit without too much disruption as the car is needed and also it's too wet and cold for the bike now.   A few points of interest, most injection modulators come equipped with standard type sprung electrical connectors.  This has necessitaded in an adaptation using two sets of 8 pin male to female connectors. On the 2.0 16 V the connectors seem to be part of the trunking for the loom. I'm sure there may be another way about, no doubt someone will let me know.  If your looking to mount the vapouriser I've mounted it under the air filter bracket  and taken the coolant pipe from the throttle body to pipe through.   The 70 Litre Stako tank fits snugly behind the rear seats fitting the frame back to front utilising the bolt holes  for the towbar with the others easily missing any obstruction through the boot floor. Had to modify an old 13mm spanner to tighten the straps though.  Have recently moved to a house without a garage so work is in slow progress.  I'll let you know any problems when all is connected.

the easiest route i have found in the past has been on the passenger side, if you lift the access flap for the pollen filter you will see a couple of grommets there, that is where i have run cabling.
In order to find the entry point in the car you will have to remove the passenger side face vent, there is a how to on this i will see if i can find the link, this will give you access to the wire from the inside.

there are a few of us currently doing LPG kits, there are a few threads in general chat, would be good to have your input

I think we might have to agree to disagree on that one - I once saw a certified mixer system on one of these backfire through the inlet, it wasn't pretty  

(Admittedly, driver ran the tank too low which caused this - but SGI doesn't have this effect).

I've also been talking to one of the TinleyTech guys quite a bit, who has had bad experiences with mixers on 4cyl Ecotec engines. (this was at the time I was planning to convert my 2.0)

SGI kits are clearly the way to go, and given the extremely low cost of them, I just don't think Mixers have any place on an ECU controlled engine anymore.
