« on: 19 November 2007, 21:07:18 »

Does anyone know if you can change the fuel gauge on the dash or is it a complete unit as i think mine is sticking  because  its saying that ive used 40lts of petrol and ive only done 80 miles. I cant find any leaks and it passes an emisions test..

Any ideas or poss reasons  very welcome.

Earlier ones can be changed, later are complete unit.  I suspect you could swap on over with a bit of soldering etc.

Does the Range function of MID correspond to fuel gauge, or reality?

That the reading read as per spec (look in haynes, they normally give the values).
