Exhaust manifold

Hi everyone, got my exhaust manifold changed two weeks ago and since i've changed it, i read on the forum that you should always use GM parts which i didnt, and sure enough its started blowing out again does anyone know if vaux-world on ebay does genuine parts or should i wait for my own vauxhall dealers to order it on the 2nd of jan cheers.

Good advice. Annual fee £15. Check with your local Vx dealer if they run Trade Club and buy genuine Vx parts for a lot less...

Eg Exhaust silencer and tail pipes 2.5 saloon to '99 - £120 Retail, £102 Normal Trade & £75 Trade Club :) + vat

I just done the manifold gaskets on mine, but i used a very good pattern gasket and it was the later type triple layer matal one which is a lot lot better...
What was your gasket like ?

There is such a thing.....Elring make the multilayer metal ones for Vx and these can also be bought on ebay...

Its the composite ones which are a waste of space.

Well if they are making it FOR vx it's not a pattern gasket, is it?  ::)  :P

Any chance of a link to the seller, i would like one for my 2.2CD facelift but its not a job i fancy doing more than once
