Cat Replacement Pipes
« on: 01 January 2008, 17:56:13 »

My 2.5 is in need of a new n/s cat as its rattling around like a stone in a bean can.

I was thinking of chopping the cats out and making up some cat replacement pipes so i can bolt the cats back in for MOT then drop them out afterwards

Has anyone else don this or know of a pipe and flange kit, if not i'll have a crack at it myself

Cheers
Andy

Is it the cat internals rattling, or just the heat shield?
A large jubilee clip around the lower end of the shield should fix it if it is.
