Cold start whistle on V6

I have a 99 2.5V6 which when cold makes a loud whistling type noise on start up, this dissapears after approx 30-60secs depending on how cold engine is any ideas as to the cause.

SAI pump, unplug it (passenger side wing)

It could be related to the secondary air injection system, that runs briefly after a cold start.

The pump lives under the left wheel arch at the front and has the horns mounted on its bracket.
If you disconnect the motor you can see if the noise ceases.

If it does look for split hoses around the valves behind the radiator.

I take it I can leave it unplugged or do I reconnect it or replace it ?
