Thermostat 2.5td
« on: 22 December 2007, 14:20:54 »

I have a replacement Thermostat (Made by First Line) Pt No.FT385.80 (Refers to QTH393K).

Before I start pulling things apart, is this the correct one.

To fit a '00 2.5td.  (t/stat housing is black plastic)

Sounds right, does it say 80 degrees on it, and double check the QHT number on the Quinton & Hazell website

Not done it yet. Haven't had the time..and an argument with an un-lit traffic island on Christmas Eve put it back a bit.

I'm pretty certain it's a seized open t/stat issue.

Looks like we've got the same issue...Race ya !!  ;D
