Is the revised ecu map always written over when placed on a vauxhall tech 2 machine???

As a side note, are you able to do a poultry 2001 1.7DTi Astra G???

Given that the offer is half the price of a tuning box and if the warranty is finished on the car I would be more than tempted.

Destec quoted me £500 for the same re-map 3 years ago. Power and torque gains aside even with 1 MPG better fuel consumption it pays for itself quickly given the price of fuel.

Yes, my MPG on the 2.5TD tractor increased about 3mpg when I fitted one of Omegatoy's TD chips.  

Can't comment on the 2.2DTi though, no experience...
