Process of ilimination... Still hesitant!
« on: 24 February 2008, 18:29:53 »

Reet...

At the cambelt partay, all 6 plugs were replaced, the n/s bank camcover was done, new leads for banks 2 4 and 6, all new inlet gaskets, rear multiram fixed, gearbox updated, error codes read (were no error codes) and general opinion was the car sounded like it has a performance exhaust when it doesn't lol!

But

it's still hesitant upto 4000rpm, at which point it kicks you into the back of the seat and just flys!  You can hear the miss too...

So, reckon its worth now replacing the leads for banks 1 3 and 5, and if that doesnt sort it, go for a new coilpack??

Everything else is bang on other than the secondary air intake (jet engine) and the sai none-return valve possibly sticking...  Could that cause the miss tho??

answers on a postcard to the usual address  8-)

As you know I have just changed my dis pack because the car had a stutter at about 3000rpm and the performance was down but apart from that ran OK, the the pack has made a very noticable improvement :y

I have those plug leads here if you want to try them :y
