I had a GSI 24v, not to bad a job on them ;)
My brother used to have a Mitsubishi FTO. The front 3 plugs were a doddle, the 3 at the back ...... you needed to book the week ff work to do them.  :o  ;)
Merc A class is an engine out job to change plugs....

Fitted 6 NGK 'Iridium' spark plugs April '07 - 20k miles ago after all sorts of 'high load misfire problems', also suffered from a number of duff GM plugs. The 'Iridium' plugs have fired without missing a single beat, even with three plug wells full of oil for 2 months, (new gaskets fitted now). Best price £6 each but worth it and used in conjunction with Shell Super V the difference is impressive  ;)

FFS! :-? No wonder they make plugs that (allegedly) last 80k.


BTW so is the Previa.... the original NGK Iridium plugs are suppose to be good fro 63k miles (100k km).... And from what I hear also the Mitsubishi FTO. No wonder these models never became popular with fleet buyers....
