Lumpy Steering

Sorry folks another question (newby miggy owner) My steering at low manoeuvering speeds, feels a little 'lumpy' although its fine at driving speeds is this normal?  :-/ :y

Is the fluid level in power steering reservior correct and/or is the idle speed (perhaps) too low?
Air in the system can cause that 'lumpyness' at low RPM.....as can a duff (or on the way out) P/S pump.
