This is doing my head in !!
« on: 11 March 2008, 16:15:32 »

Hi all My 2000 2.0 16v had an idling prob sorted by replacement of IACV amd MAF this has been done on warranty and so far they have been pretty good but there now is a new prob. There is a couple of judders when I change from 1st to 2nd and it hesitates at around the 4000 rpm mark in 3rd it was not doing this before the MAF was changed.  Anyone any ideas please?

Two things to do - clean all of the breathers - see the FAQ section, also do the paperclip test for error codes again FAQ section.

The MAF was probably fine, but the diling is not just the ICV but also the breather pipes including one underneath the throttle body
