Front multi-ram
« on: 09 March 2008, 22:08:15 »

not operating.
I checked the vac pipes and they seem to be connected in the right places. The only palce I could find a leak is where the wiring plug is connected at the rear of the multi ram. I checked the rear multi ram and this has the same hole but no leaks .
please help

Are the vac pipes correctly connected to the solenoids?

The vac feed must be on the nose of the solenoid and the output on the side because when the solenoid is in the not accuated position it vents the output to atmosphere in order to allow the vac stored in the actuator to vent....

Just checked all the pipes agian. The pipe from the side of the solenoid connects to the muiltiram, and the t piece on the end of the solenoid goes to the left side of the vac reservoir (as you look down at it)and the other pipe goes the other soleniod on the rear multi-ram.
the rear multi-ram is working.
If i take the pipe of the front multi-ram and blow down it the air comes out of the bottom of the solenoid .
could it be the soleniod it's self not operating?
