Coolant Level Switch
« on: 17 March 2008, 19:14:44 »

 hi everyone,
Have had the Coolant level warning coming on occasionally for the last 6 months or more. Just been resetting from stalk and then it is fine and may not reappear for a week or more.

No coolant loss at all  - so it must be level switch I thinks.

When the warning is NOT  lit up if I push the float down in the header tank the Coolant level warning comes on - so seems that it is working OK.

Have checked electrical connection under tank this seems OK.

Just wondered if I could replace just the switch and not the whole tank assembly.

Any ideas ?

Regards, Big Al :)
