electric windows help

  hi just finished puuting leather seats in thanks to
  marky mark.. :y :y :y
     i am now trying to swap the rear windows to electric
 I have plugged the wire loom in and checked the window motor
to see if it works before i put it in the door

 1. light on the window switch
 2. central locking work
  but the motor not working????
      can i swap these over or have i got to keep them manual

        my car is a 2.0 l gls

check the wires in loom in the rubber part bud might be one broken !! if it is let me know if you carnt repair it and will see if i have another :y

  i took the seat belt out and un plugged it in that TINY hole
 took ages .
  didi my head in so put it back together again
  going pub soon

Have you swapped the console switches to 4 way?
