looks like the passenger side of the V6 cam cover gasket, those clips at the bottom look like they are for the multi-ram pipes?

Leaking cam covers  :y

I'm thinking this is looking straight down at the front ??? So the oil is collecting on the top of the under tray ??

If so it could be coming from anywhere, the undertray is quite large and the oil will collect at the lowest point ONCE YOU ARE STATIONARY. It is therefore no indication of the position of the leak.

Wipe down as much of the engine as you can and run at tickover looking for leaks, check the plug holes, remove the plenum and look in the V.. about all I can suggest.. :(

Not undertray. This is at the very front of the engine. Looks like a sump guard or something to me. You can see where it ends at the top of the pic. The bit inbetween the lip and the strange white looking thing is the ground.  :y

When my rocker gaskets needed doing the oil started running out of the front of the engine as my drive was on a forward facing slope  :o. I think it was running the full length of the engine cos they were leaking towards the rear of the engine .

If you haven't done the breathers and rocker gaskets yet and you get a whiff of oil smoke at the lights , I'd say thats your best bet . :y

Yeah it does smell. Getting a bit worse now. Bit I cant understand is where the oil is sitting is about an inch in front of the block. Cant see how its travelling through the air to get there cos no part of engine overhangs where oil is settled??  :-?

Yeah but the block is nowhere near where the oil has stopped. The front of block is about an inch away  :-?
