Tyres
« on: 03 April 2008, 00:09:00 »

Need some new tyres (standard 15" alloys) and was after some suggestions on what to get. Hoping for something decent for 50-60 a corner or is this unrealistic (need 4)

check http://www.blackcircles.com or http://www.etyres.co.uk for some of the best prices and then either get them to fit (by sending to your local place or using mobile vans:), or take their prices to a local tyre place and say "beat that"!

check out which? magazine as well if you want a decent test of tyres https://www.which.co.uk/reports_and_campaigns/cars/reports/running_a_car/accessories/Tyres/Tyres_essential_product_574_70980.jsp

there's lots of threads recently on the forum on tyres too, although mostly bigger ones!

Vectra Elite Estate doing good post-Omega service but still not as nice to sit in.

One last Omega on the drive, one Corsa on the lawn...maybe they'll go to a good home before too long!

Or buy a set of alloys with good tyres off here, or ebay...loads about so you could upgrade your alloys, get the newish tyres into the bargain and still pay out £200 or less for it :)

Yes, I had somebody rate the Kh15's the other week......avoid the sport ones though as they are a bit soft!
