How you doing
My Omega was down on power, fuel economy and had a stutter at 4000 rpm for a year until I changed the Dis pack and what a difference it has made.

when its running ok which i'm getting 34 mpg and runs smooth as you like then decides to throw a wobbler with rough running then back normal again during the same journey...
I'm going to source a new dis module from L.M.F this week now that i have the correct plug fitting shape so i would very much like yor assistance in fitting it if we can arrange a date to suite....

I would have thought if it was the DIS pack the rough running would be all the time.

Do you get the EML light on at all?  Have you checked the connections on all the harnesses?
