Due to change cams shortly but would like to know if there is timing marks on the block to set too when i reassemble it all?

Or should i say how do i set the timing correctly?

Cam locking tool is no good due to me removing the cams

Well the cam locking kit should come with a calibration tool to get the timing right, not sure if it can be done with a just a belt with timing marks on?

There is a timing mark on the crank pulley that aligns with a mark at the bottom of the oil pump housing surrounding it when no.1 is at TDC. However, best bet is to fit the crank locking part of the locking kit, turn it to TDC where it contacts the water pump and then turn it back 60 degrees anticlockwise.

Then fit the cams using this guide for their approximate location:http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1152565319

Then fit the camshaft oil seals and sprockets and lock the camshafts using the tools, getting the timing correct using the gauge in the locking kit.

Then bring the crank round clockwise to the TDC location using the locking kit and fit the timing belt following the normal procedure.
