Problem Idling
« on: 25 April 2008, 18:25:04 »

I have 2.5 V6.
On a run it it fine. But if I do stop start journey it starts to run like a bag of poo....it keeps cutting out and won't idle. It sometimes sorts itself out if I open her up or rev the nuts out of it.
And recently when I driving along at about 50/60i it seems to "hic up" and engine light comes on but goes off after 20/20 seconds
ANy ideas?

If, as you said, you had the EML light come on, then you will have
code(s) stored. Do the paperclip test iaw the link, post your code(s),
and fix known faults before guessing at anything else.
