Here's hoping yours is just the cam covers. Gearbox leaks do seem to be fairly rare unless it's been disturbed and the low level could have just been down to it not having been checked for ages. Might be worth checking the oil cooler lines from the gearbox aren't leaking though, and that there's no evidence of contamination of the coolant.
