Well good news and bad news,

The bad news was the Crank sensor I got from Vauxhall turned out to be faulty.

the good news is that the car is running as soon as I replaced the faulty new sensor with an exchange unit which vauxhall were not keen on doing until I put preassure on them.

So to those people who have a simliar fault I would suggest changing the crank sensor with a genuine unit, It cost me £57.00 incl VAT.

Takes approx 30 minutes to do, the hardest part was feeding the wire up the back of the engine.

One garage quoted me 6 hours to do the job and £150 for the sensor.

 :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
