regarding paper clip test

hello all,can the paper clip test be performed on my 02 reg 2.2 sport omega. :-/ the eml has came on ,but stays on.

Not on facelifts.  Seem to remember reading on oof u can get a code out by turning on ignition whist pressing acc & brake pedals together?  If thats true someone will confirm.

I'm wrong its engine specific, not year....so 2.0 16V, 2.5V6 and 3.0 V6 can be paper clipped. 2.2, 2.6 and 3.2 can't.

2.2 not paperclippable.  Nor does the pedal trick seem to work.
