Lumpy between 50 and 70 mph
« on: 11 June 2008, 23:31:19 »

Hi everybody. I hope somebody can help. I have a V6 2.5 auto that normally runs very good, but has just started pinking between 50 and 70 mph. When you pass 70 mph it is ok and no problems before 50. Is it something obvious?? ;)
Also does anybody know of a tech 2 in the Manchester area.

Sounds like the multirams are not working correctly.Have you been working on the car and disturbed any plugs from back of engine, check all plugs and also the vacuum pipes that run on passenger side for kinks or splits

Thanks i will try that.

Had the car serviced recently, but am not convinced they changed the spark plugs.
