They are changing the whole kit but I didn't realise about the timing and locking kit. I will speak to them on Monday before they do the work. Thanks for the heads up!

I cannot emphasize enough, whatever they say, it is NOT possible to do properly without the locking/timing kit due to the nature of the setup used on the V6

I would encourage you to have a go yourself, as with everyone... but yes, subject to fitting it in, I would be able to have a shot at it sometime for you.

How are you planning on doing this for people without the full kit mate?

Despite a few PM's I still don't have your address to send you the wedge bit you left when you came and did mine recently. Please get back to me as it is waiting on my desk at work in a small Jiffy bag ready to send.

By the way folks, when James did mine he did a really top job of the cam-belt kit and the cam-cover gaskets, and he came to my house to do it.

If it were my car in question I would much sooner one of the more capable members on here (James included) did it than any garage as they are enthusiasts of the marque and will make sure it is done properly. It is an extremely important thing to get this right.
