autobox code 0700

eml stays lit all the time.car keeps going into limp mode,so took it to garage today and they said that theres a problem with the autobox ecu,it keeps coming up code 0700.he said that theres no power going to the ecu ,does anyone know why this can be.all answers much appreciated :y

Code 0700 is basically a Transmisson module failure code, however I would have expected to see other codes as well.  :-/

The module is accessable by removing the kick trim above the pedals and is mounted on the right so might be worth checking the multi plug is fully connected.

Also, check for codes in engine.  0700 and 1700 in autobox are often caused by engine saying to gearbox that its using reduced power (limp)
