Paperclip test - Results
« on: 05 July 2008, 17:16:14 »

Hi everyone, i am after an answer with the above.
Just done the test, and got the results...
12 - 133 - 12.
Obviously the 12 is telling me the test has started, and 133 is the  Intake Manifold Valve 2 Voltage Low.
My problem is.... what is the "Intake Manifold Valve 2 Voltage Low"
Is it a simple job? or costly?
The only other job i've got to sort, is that my rev counter doesn't work, and not does my speedo, but it does a mean twitch  ;D
Can anyone help??
Steve

Either the manifold switch over solenoid isn't working or the wiring to it isnt.

I had Intake Manifold Valve 1 Voltage Low and found that one of the wires  to the solenoid had frayed and broken.

Intake Manifold Valve 2  is the one at the front of the engine, connecting the ram pipes.

Intake Manifold Valve 1 is the one at back of the plenum.

Check your alternator charge rate.

thanks trebor...
Had a look behind the two pipes you mentioned, the solenoid behind it is broken, so it looks like that is the problem.
Thanks again...
