Cruise Control
« on: 07 July 2008, 08:55:22 »

I have purchased a 1999 2.5v6 Auto but the cruise control dosn't work the previous owner had a new brake light switch fitted. The problem happened shortly after the switch was fitted. Can any one tell me where it is and how do you check it please.

as for where it is it is up above the brake pedals not easy to see you need to lie on your back :-? in the footwell and look up to the back of the dash and you will see it at the top of the brake pedal

It's easy to fit the correct switch but still not have cruise if it wasn't fitted correctly! Apparently!  ::) Can't remember exactly, but there's a ratchet bit on the stem of the switch which you pull up to the brake pedal arm.
