alarm problems

hi there can anyone help to find out my alarm goes off it own (2.0)
ive rebuild  the engine and had the brain off  please help ?

Did you refit the bonnet sensor?

Bonnet sensor was reconnected. but as bonnet was removed for ease of access, does it / can it be adjusted

Very simple to adjust mate but before you do, just unplug it then if the alarm still goes off  you know the switch is ok

Unplugged for 2 hrs and it's still all quite, so it looks like it's the switch :y
