What size are my discs?
« on: 10 July 2008, 21:22:06 »

Hi All

Going on holiday next week and urgently need to put a set of front discs on the Omega. Can only afford pattern ones at the moment. Question is does anyone know the diameter of the front discs on a 1998 2.5 td elite saloon? I know they are vented but cant take one off as I need the car to go and get them. Have already got genuine VX pads.

Thanks in advance

how much are the pattern?

GM ones are £70 with pads...

Pattern is generally false economy, don't last as long

Genuine disks and pads will cost you £83 including the VAT if you have a Trade Card or can loan one ;)

Thanks everyone.
Will have to see if I can stretch to buying genuine VX. Trouble is £83 is a tank of fuel to go on holiday. :'( Mind it is better if I can stop when I get there. Do Omegas float in the sea? ;D
