Wheel Advice
« on: 19 July 2008, 14:10:40 »

I need to order a new wheel for my 2000 MV6. I rang the parts department and was told I needed a number from the inside of the wheel. So I took the wheel and found several numbers:

761 10 431
TNR 76110453
002 0591
ET33
7.50Jx17H2

I recognise the last 2 as the offset and wheel dimensions. Can anyone tell me which of the other 3 numbers I'm supposed to give to the guy in the parts department. Cheers  :y

Thanks for the replies. It sounds like no one has ever ordered a wheel from Vauxhalls before. Does anyone know the meaning of the other 3 numbers?  :-/

I'm glad my dealer is so good.  Ring up, say who I am, say what I want, and it gets ordered.  That includes wheels.

Good spot. :y I guess it could have been ET38. I wasn't focusing too much on that as I thought it was one of the other 3 numbers that I needed

Prefacelift MV6 wheels were made by Irmscher, who have none left, and say they are not doing another production run.  Just as well, as they are rubbish!

I must admit, it would have been nice if irmscher had made the wheels out of alloy instead of cheese, but the style of those wheels really suit the colour of the car: Antelope.

i think he means the ET number you've typed might be wrong (your original thread says ET33, which to me seems well out for an omega wheel)
