v6->which box will fit?
« on: 28 August 2008, 19:12:29 »

I'm planning to swap a autobox with a manual one.

What box will I need? will the box from a 2.0 16v omega fit?

R25 is the one fitted to a 2.5 as standard and is the same as fitted to the 2.0.

An R28 is a bit stronger and fitted to the 3.0

local breaker told me that the housing is different....he said that 2.0 box had an starter-motor on one side, and v6 box has a starter on another side.
