Personally, I think he will fall on his sword......

Stranger things have happened, it will be interesting to see the outcome.

......

It was nice to see this afternoon that as the sun was shining, our boys in hi-viz jackets, on bikes & in cars, were out en mass where a major road to Bury goes from 40 to 30. They could obviously give us our undeserved attention!  :-X  :-X  :-X

I've to hold my hands up & appologise. The boys in hi-viz were involved in a drugs raid - the restaurant just happens to be on the main road next to the 30/40 signs.    :-[

Andy - noted for future refernce, if needed.....   ;)   ;D

Glad to see that you accept that not all peeps in yellow jackets and white hats are out to get you for travelling at 30.999 mph in a 30 .....   :y

Doubt it'll matter, i suppose they'll just get someone to chauffeur him around then.

Another waste of resources.  ::)

If he gets convicted it will be the chop anyway won't it?
Can't see how he preach a road safety message in his force without being branded a hypocrit.

Was he driving dangerously?

Very likely not. But when you come out with statemnets like "If I had my all camera would be completely hidden & mobile. If we are serious about speed, we will have to think about that."

And also said he wanted to end "the British driving Public's habit of speeding when ever we can get away with it. I find it wierd that there is this idea that enforcing speeding law is somehow unsporting."

In his high profile position you need to be seen to be complying with the laws that you are enforcing. Especially in North Wales where that other prat lives & works.
