i have driven TB's chipped 2.5 TD Auto... its quite a machine. SoOoO much low down punch and grunt. Its not far off 3.0 performance!

I wouldn't go that far - the MV6 will leave it for dust, but it is a much more impressive car than it was pre chipped...

90+ 3.0 has it, but 30-80, not far off i found.

It pulls well, but nothing like a 3.0l.  Whilst it would beat any of the 4 pots, I reckon it would be a tight match against 2.5 v6 auto, with the petrol winning...

not if the old maxim of DITCH HIM was applied but seriously would be pretty close i think but the petrol would be drinking fuel to stay ahead and the diesel would sail majestically past him when it ran out!!
