Oil in Plug Wells
« on: 14 September 2008, 20:28:18 »

Just replacing the cam cover seals

Spent ages getting oil out of the plug wells with kitchen towel (Used nearly a whole roll on one side alone) even so when i took the plugs out to renew them it was obvious that a small very amount of oil will still have gone into the bore.

What is the consequence of this? Is it a problem?

if you have got the majority of oil out, it may smoke a little on startup but should clear. hth
