Bonnet Realase.
« on: 22 September 2008, 17:32:20 »

Can the Bonnet release be adjusted.  Mine seems to need to be pulled to it's max and then just pulled a bit harder to open.

If not, are they easy to replace, any idea of cost.

TIA :y

Yea  easy job open bonnet...
Remove the Passenger side plastic cover at front near battery that stops crap etc getting down /in from front .
It has one plastic looking screw just turn it 1/4 turn then the cover will come loose with a good pull.
The cable is visible then clipped to the car front end ,undo the clip a small hex screw once loose you just pull the outer cover of the cable to right to take up any slack then tighten up the screw/clip, then test it, then replace the plastic cover just 1/4 turn locks it :y

Bonnet heaight is fine, I reckon it's just slack in the cable that's the problem.
