I've got quite good at removing these , get people in all the time who've lost the remover.
If you're likely to be anywhere near Notts I could have a go.
Failing that if you can't get hold of the tool, some of the tricks are
- hit the wheel bolt as hard as you can with a hammer (if you can't do it without damaging the wheel use a bit of solid bar between the hammer and bolt) , this should loosen the bolt a fair bit .
-try chiselling it round with a cold chisel
- if it still doesn't move you can sometimes bang an old socket onto the bolt (impact ones are best but this doesn't always work , it depends on the type of bolt)
-usual last resort is to find someone with a MIG welder and weld some nice chunks on to the bolt (the heat helps to loosen them and you've then got a nice lump of weld to hit against with your chisel)
-as stated before drill and extractor can work but you've got to loosen them first usually or you'll bust the extractor.
You've got to be careful with all these not to damage your wheels, but one or other of them usually does the trick.
