brake error on computer display

Hi guys

Just bought a 2.5 V6 Tourer, the guy I bought off says he has just had the brake dics and oads replaced on the front, however the computer display says there is a brake fault? any ideas?

Hi Tony,
           I would say he didn't replace the wear sensors.

is it an easy low cost fix?

as long as the breaking isnt affected I can live with it though, but will prob take a look if the weather ever stops raining ::)

dont think the units too expensive, im sure you can get them off ebay.
they just plug in on the strut i think it is and then clips/pushes into the brake pad along the outer edge

  Yes Tony, approx. 5 to £6 each side for sensors and easy to fit, check out ebay :).
