If youve got time, take the plenum off too, gives much better access, you dont need to but it may help if youve not done one before , and save a few scratches along the way

i had thought about that, ive a tin of carb spray left, might as well clean the tubes again while im there. and shoot some fluid up that black box

A lot easier if you take the plenum off. You'll lose less skin....
