really really really stupid question

but can anyone tell me where the sump drain bolt (and size :) )is on the 2.2?
Ive just spent 20 mins looking for it :/ i must be being really stupid as i cant find it. i done oil change on a 2.0 astra before but the sump drain seems to have moved on my omega....

if you look at the engine from under the car or get right down on your stomach, you'll see the dark black sump which comes down the furthest on the bottom of the engine, there should be a 19 i think it is or 21 mm bolt head (might be the hex bolt head with yours being newer) the bolt head should be right at the back of the sump just before it curves to go back upto the engine(the back side of the sump)

It's same place if you bear in mind an Omega's engine is the correct way around rather than the side ways engine in an Astra. :y  :y  :y  ;)

it does not point straight down, the nut actually points at rather an odd angle towards passenger rear.

Go under the car from the front, on the passenger side, look to the drivers side at the back of sump.
