Painting rear parcel shelf

Bought rear parcel shelf with blind & bose speaker covers in grey. Original shelfs like a charcoal grey was wondering if i could paint the shelf, blind & speaker covers matt black so it doesnt look out of place. Willl an aerosol be ok never painted carpet before. Thanks.

Doubt you'll be able to.  Dying would be better, but the size makes it unmanagable to dye at home.

Try getting one the right colour

I have seen it done on one of those progs on discovery. Cannot be sure what end result would be like to be honest. They used a matt black spray...
Just come to mind it was a Mike Brewer show lol

tis possible matey you can buy proper spray for headlinings and suchlike  :y

Cheers would of got right colour but only one on ebay. Thought it could be done just playing safe didnt want to make a balls up of things. Doesnt get any use so aerosol wont wear away.
