Remote Locking Fob
« on: 12 November 2008, 22:01:24 »

While im on here i may aswell make good use of your advice. I took a long drive to Edinburgh last Saturday (lovely city if you ever get to go) and turned engine off. Went to lock it but my central locking with my key fob and wouldnt work. Was the least of my worries at the time as i had a gig to do. Got back in the car and started home. On the way i stopped at a service station and the remote fob worked. Has anyone got any ideas why this happend? Was it just playing up? Havn't had any probs since then.

they are prone to poor connections between battery holder and PCB, and on facelifts, poor switches.
