prop shaft

hi all i went to start a job on my 95 2.0l 16v manual estate mig which was changing prop shaft i brought a prop and thought i will measure the length and mine is 65 inch and the replacment it 56 inch long but everythink looks the same the one i brought was ment to be off a p reg estate any ideas?

lol.....the front section is different between manual and auto

was the other prop from an auto? would be much shorter cause the autobox is longer than the manual

dont know if it was off a auto or manual just didnt think to ask stupied me but when i lifted the prop up in the air next to mine the rear looked same just the front a bit shorter.
