I had one 5 years ago which had been imported from Cyprus. I was made an offer I couldn't refuse and like a fool I took it :'(

Not really my cup of tea. The shape somehow reminds me of a Lada? It must have been nice to drive if you remember it so fondly?

The rust? yes. Everything else: no...  :(

Had a few old school Alfas in my day...  :y

The Julia is a small RWD car with DOHC engine and two side-draught Webers as standard  - a real marvel in those days, and boy was it fun....

The thing I remember the most was my dad had one in the 70s and there wasn't much to touch them in those days :y

Just a question ..How about a second hand alfa 2.5 v6 for the wife (pssst : also for me) as a second car ?

Would it be very expensive to maintain ?

All ideas welcome  ::)

 :'( modern cars with bad electrics means the car let you in the middle of traffic..

There are too many sensors..Old days with carburators was really super..

Lol, I still remmeber my neighbours 156, he bought it brand new (about 7 years ago) and finaly got his money refunded after 12 months because 6 months of those it had been back at the garage.

In that time it had.

1 new engine
2 new gearboxes
1 complete exhaust, it fell off as he drove onto the drive and bent the floor pan as it folded over under the car
loads of electrical problems.

Went pretty well though and handling was good, the downside was there was little boot space due to the mcpherson rear setup.......and the fact he never had it!
