Airbag Light - Tech2 Error TC 92
« on: 23 November 2008, 23:00:27 »

Well, my saga of getting leather seats in my 2003 CD goes on..

The pasenger seat went in without any problems..., however.., the airbag light has come up on the dash board....

I took it to my local Vauxhall dealer to clear the warning with the Tech2, and he said that it wouldn't clear..., it just kept re-erroring...

The error was

"tc 92 sensor pad 1 circuit malfunction"

He had not come across this one before, so he could not give me any idea of what the problem was or how much it would cost me to fix...

Has anyone any info on this warning...?, or even a possible fix...?

Any help would be great...

I'm guessing your old original seat had a Occupancy sensor in it, and the replacement one doesn't.

Mmm.. I don't think it did...  :-?

It was just a bog standard, cloth covered basic factory fitted 2003 Omega CD seat...

I replaced it with a 2003 Omega Elite seat....

All the plugs hooked up really well on the pasenger seat, electrics all work 100%..., ironicaly it's the drivers side we had the probs with..., but that is working fine... I know it's the pasenger side that is the problem as we didn't fit the drivers side till a couple of weeks later..., and the light was on from the word go...

I think my only option is to take it to the dealer to have a look at...?
