Retrofits Possible
« on: 30 December 2008, 23:29:50 »

Just wondering in general is it possible to retrofit (on preface);

Headlights (from the ver that get glazed to clear not HID)
Climate Control
Heated Seats
Front Fogs
CD Multi Changer (CD in boot version)

As in is the wiring there or are they big things to fit?

Its just mates got a crashed car and wondering if I can put any into a GLS everything still works in it however engine bay is completely destroyed

Headlights - projectors is a straight swap
Climate - no chance!
Heated Seats - wiring should be in place
Front fogs - usually wiring in place, but check first
CD Changer - depends on year as to what wiring required

Cheers for that.

For the CD player is the wiring normally still there even if it wasnt an option or do I need to pull apart the car and run it?

Its from a 98 CDX Man Estate to a 99 GLS Auto Saloon

CD loom unlikely to be there. Check drivers kick panel for large connector.  If present, you just need to run loom down side of car.
