Thank you Tim, An easy thing to do. I am sure it is right, but I have to check it out. A simple job that can go wrong ??  Yes, it is the light on the key that shows it is working. I know the Battery is correct and thought it would be a simple swap. Will let you know the result.

you need to re-programme the key.
Put it in the ignition and turn ignition on.
press one of the fob buttons for a few seconds.
the doors should lock and unlock
The key is then programmed. :y

Hi All, The key is working ok now. The end fault was, I had to pack the battery out to make Contact and now the light comes on.
Such a simple fault, but easily remeided. Hurray!  This may well help othere's.  When fitting another Battery, make sure the light works before closing the key, by holding the battery in.
