Facelift Drivers Heated Seat Not Working...
« on: 12 February 2009, 18:55:26 »

...only a suspicion at the moment as ive only had it 24hrs, and have been dying of the flu but i dont think my heated drivers seat is working....

ive searched the forum but all the results are for the prefacelifts, with everyone describing the same thing....heater pad!?

so, can i change this myself? parts be got from vauxhall or do i have to get the pad from a scrap yard?

cheers

If it`s leather mate you`re better off getting another seat that works

tis leather, but id like to know what the problem is first before buying a new seat. the leather is unmarked in her really. i found this over MIG vauxhall.....

Where the upright part of the seat joins the base, there is a wire that links the two heater pads, this is prone to wearing through, once gone the switch will work but the seat won`t heat up! usually have to remove some plastic trim to get at this, not sure which side of the seat the wire is either, but if you find it and re-connect it shoudl work.
