I think the CCRT700, as fitted here, has a GPS option, so maybe its built in to that on the 1999 models (that is a 1999 model)

What would I need for a VX satnav on my facelift, then? (Colour screen would be nice, but I've not got a grand handy...) I'd love to have a satnav and phone setup...

My car is a feb 2000 on a 'v' plate and has sat nav fitted with a CCRT700 (pre facelift 3.0). my previous omega elite 3.0 a 1999 on a 't' plate was the same set up.

Thinking about it, although some versions have gps capability, they cant do satnav.  Certainly 1998 3.0l came with satnav as std (Carin)

If you look carefully you can still see the twiddly knob (technical term! ;)) on the centre arm rest from where it was fitted.
