another brake question
« on: 01 April 2009, 22:11:29 »

I have just picked up a 98 omega 2.5 diamond,i had a 97 2.5gl up until a few weeks ago when someone crashed into it.  Anyway the brakes on this one feel strange, the pedalis very hard to push down and dont really have a good bite point but the car stops relatively well with enough push, on my last one the brakes where perfect no back pressure before the bite etc.  The dealer has replaced the master cylinder and that has improved it a bit but its still not good, all i can think of is either crap pads, a siezed pot in the caliper or something to do with the abs, has anyone got any ideas???

Also can anyone tell me if the suspension i set up softer in the diamond than the GL?? this one feels wollowy in comparison to the last

sounds like your servo is not working correctly
check the one way valve is ok
it should allow air one way but the other
